The PoE adapter Trendnet TI-IG30 is an industrial-grade Gigabit PoE+ injector designed for harsh environments. Rated IP30 and built with hardened components, the TI-IG30 injects power and data over a single Ethernet cable to power PoE, PoE+, and high-power PoE+ devices up to 100 meters (328 ft) from a non-PoE Gigabit switch. How to use

Mount the TI-IG30 on a DIN rail or wall using the supplied hardware. Connect a non-PoE Gigabit switch to the injector’s data input RJ-45 port, then connect the injector’s PoE RJ-45 output to the PoE device using Cat5e or higher cable, keeping the run under 100 m. Provide DC power to the injector through one or both redundant DC input connectors using a compatible 48 V power supply (TI-S12048 sold separately). Ensure the power source is sized to supply the required wattage for the connected PoE device and observe polarity and wiring recommendations from the power supply manufacturer.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation in industrial environments, use shielded Cat5e or better cable, mount the unit away from sources of severe vibration, and employ the redundant power input with a compatible TI-S12048 power supply to maintain continuous uptime.
