Keystone RJ-45 Coupler Triton Cat.6 Shielded, Metal Modular Inline Adapter
Keystone RJ-45 Coupler Triton Cat.6 Shielded, Metal Modular Inline Adapter
Shielded Triton keystone RJ-45 modular coupler designed for Cat.6 twisted-pair networks. The metal inline adapter provides a compact, durable connection point to join two RJ-45 patch cords or terminated cables while maintaining the shielding continuity required for improved protection against electromagnetic interference. The coupler fits standard keystone openings and is intended for structured cabling, patch panels, wall plates and small network extensions where Cat.6 performance is needed.
The metal housing ensures mechanical robustness and contributes to effective electromagnetic shielding across the connection. Eight 1:1 contacts maintain the proper wiring scheme for Cat.6 links without signal re-mapping. Its keystone format enables easy installation into compatible faceplates and panels and allows quick inline coupling without tools. The compact inline design minimizes additional cable length and preserves signal integrity when extending or joining Ethernet runs.
Insert the keystone coupler into a compatible faceplate, patch panel slot or surface-mount box until it locks in place. Plug RJ-45 connectors from two Cat.6 patch cords or terminated cables into the coupler’s ports to establish the inline connection. Ensure that connected cables use shielded RJ-45 connectors if maintaining overall shielding continuity is required. After connection, verify link integrity and network performance with an appropriate cable tester or network diagnostic tool.
For reliable Cat.6 performance, use with shielded twisted-pair cables and compatible shielded connectors; avoid excessive cable bending near the coupler and confirm connections with testing equipment after installation.
