The Triton 19" Rack 15U (600x1000) is a freestanding steel cabinet designed for data and telecommunication equipment. Built for high strength and heavy load capacities, the rack features a lockable framed glass front door (4 mm safety hardened glass) and removable side and rear panels. Sliding 19" mounting rails are fixed to the cabinet body on the centre line, with 800 mm wide versions prepared for alternative 21" and off-centre 19" mounting positions. Cable entry points are provided in the top, bottom and rear sections, and the cabinet includes ventilation openings and provisions for fan units.

Advantages

The cabinet offers robust construction with adjustable vertical 19" rails that slide within the cabinet depth and, on 800 mm models, can be moved across the width. A 180° hinge design on the front door allows easy removal or reversal of the door opening. Removable side and rear covers are secured with key locks, and a brush strip reduces dust ingress at cable entry points. How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level, stable surface and adjust the levelling feet until the cabinet is plumb. Fit equipment by securing to the 19" mounting rails using the supplied mounting hardware; rails can be positioned forward or backward in the cabinet depth and, for 800 mm models, adjusted across the width where required. Route cables through the top, bottom or rear cable entry points and remove breakout panels as needed; use the brush strip to minimise dust ingress. Install fan units in the provided openings if active cooling is required.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, distribute equipment weight evenly across the 15U space and observe the 300 kg maximum load. Ensure proper earthing connection and maintain unobstructed ventilation or add fan units for increased heat dissipation. Lock doors and panels after installation to secure equipment.
