Freestanding rack Triton Delta S 18U

The Triton Delta S 18U freestanding rack is a robust steel cabinet designed for data and telecommunication installations. With an 18U capacity, a maximum load capacity of 300 kg and a durable grey finish, it provides a stable housing for networking and server equipment. The cabinet features adjustable 19" rack rails, multiple cable entry points, removable side and rear covers and provisions for ventilation and earthing.

How to use

Position the freestanding rack on a level surface and adjust the levelling feet until the cabinet is stable. Install equipment on the 19" rails, adjusting the vertical rails back and forth to accommodate depth; for 800 mm cabinets the frame can also be set across the width where required. Route cables through the top, bottom or rear entry points, removing the appropriate breakout blanking panels and using the brush strip to limit dust ingress. Fit fan units in the dedicated top or base openings if active ventilation is needed, and connect the cabinet earthing to the building earth.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, distribute equipment weight evenly, keep heavier devices lower in the rack, and allow clearance for airflow. Use the lockable panels to restrict access and maintain the earthing connection. For high-density or heat-generating installations consider installing fans or other active cooling options in the provided fan openings.
