Freestanding rack Triton Delta S 27U

The Triton Delta S 27U freestanding rack is a robust steel cabinet designed for data and telecommunication installations. With a 27U capacity, a maximum load capacity of 400 kg and a durable grey finish, it is built for high-strength applications and heavy equipment. Sliding rails are preinstalled at 19" on the cabinet centre line, and the 800 mm wide version is prepared for additional 21" and off-centre 19" configurations. Cable entry openings are provided on the top, bottom and rear sections and each is covered by a breakout-style blanking panel; the square cable entry area is 333 cm².

The cabinet offers rigidly fixed sliding rails for secure equipment mounting and adjustable vertical 19" rails on each side to accommodate various depths. Its hinged front door with lockable swing handle (glass, solid steel or perforated options) features a 180° hinge for easy removal or reversal of opening direction. How to use

Position the freestanding rack on a level surface and adjust the levelling feet until stable. Fit equipment using the 19" vertical rails, adjusting the rails forward or backward to achieve the required depth; on 800 mm wide cabinets the frame can also be repositioned across the width. Route cables through the top, bottom or rear cable entry panels and secure them using the brush strip and blanking panels as needed. Use the lockable swing handle and removable side/rear panels to access interior components for installation and maintenance. Install fan units in the provided top or base openings if additional active cooling is required.

Usage recommendations

For safe loading, distribute weight evenly across the 27U bay and avoid exceeding the 400 kg total load capacity. When placing heavy equipment, mount heavier units lower in the rack to maintain stability. Ensure proper earthing and allow unobstructed airflow through vented sections or install fans where natural convection is insufficient.
