The Triton 19" Rack 42U/600x1000 is a freestanding steel cabinet designed for data and telecommunication installations where high strength and reliable loading capacity are required. It features a lockable hinged front door with safety glass, removable side and rear panels, multiple cable entry points and adjustable 19" mounting rails to accommodate standard equipment. The cabinet includes ventilation openings, fan unit provisions, adjustable levelling feet and an earthing system, and is supplied with basic mounting hardware.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level, stable surface and adjust the levelling feet to ensure the cabinet stands plumb. Fit the adjustable 19" vertical rails to the required mounting depths and secure equipment using appropriate rack screws. Route cables through the chosen top, bottom or rear entry points and remove blanking panels as needed; use the brush strip to minimise dust entry. Install fan units in the provided openings if active cooling is required and connect earth bonding to the cabinet’s earthing points. Use the 180° hinge to open or remove the front door for full access during installation and maintenance.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, distribute equipment weight evenly across the rack and install heavy items at lower U positions. Ensure proper grounding, maintain clear airflow through vented sections or install fans as necessary, and verify that all cable entries are secured and protected to prevent interference or ingress of dust.
