Rack cabinet Triton RMA-42-L81-CAX-N1 42U server rack 800x1000 mm perforated doors
The Triton RMA-42-L81-CAX-N1 is a 42U server rack cabinet designed for secure and ventilated installation of 19" server and network equipment. With an 800 mm exterior width and 1000 mm depth, this cabinet provides 42U of usable mounting height and features front and rear perforated steel doors to promote efficient airflow and cooling. The cabinet is suitable for deployment in data centers, server rooms and telecommunications closets where structured mounting and ventilation are priorities.
The cabinet’s perforated front and rear doors allow improved passive airflow, reducing hotspots for installed equipment. A standard 19" mounting frame and 42U usable height provide compatibility with typical rack-mount servers, UPS units and network switches. The 800x1000 mm footprint balances capacity and floor space, while the steel construction offers mechanical stability and basic security for installed hardware.
This rack cabinet is optimized for passive cooling and general server/network equipment; it may not be suitable where full active cooling, soundproofing or sealed environmental protection is required. Very large systems that need greater depth or non-standard mounting may exceed the 1000 mm depth or 42U height provided.
Position the cabinet on a level floor and secure it according to site safety practices. Install 19" equipment into the rack rails starting from the bottom and distribute weight evenly to maintain stability. Use the perforated front and rear doors to enable passive airflow; if additional cooling is necessary, plan for rack-mounted fans or room-level HVAC. Ensure proper cable management and grounding for electrical safety and ease of maintenance.
For balanced operation, mount heavier equipment at the bottom, maintain clear airflow paths through the perforated doors, and use appropriate PDUs and cable management to keep airflow unobstructed. In higher density deployments, combine the cabinet with room-level cooling or rack-mounted exhaust fans to maintain recommended operating temperatures for servers and network devices.
