The Triton freestanding rack 19" Rack 45U (600x1000) is a robust steel cabinet designed for data and telecommunication installations that require high load capacity and reliable construction. It features a lockable hinged front glass door, removable side and rear panels, multiple cable entry points with larger breakout panels (333 cm²), and adjustable 19" mounting rails to accommodate various equipment depths and layouts. The cabinet supports natural convective ventilation with vented top and bottom sections, provision for fan units, an earthing system and includes basic mounting hardware.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level surface and adjust the levelling feet until the cabinet is stable. Install equipment on the vertical 19" rails, adjusting rail positions in depth to suit device mounting. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure equipment. For cable routing, open the breakout panels on the top, bottom or rear sections and guide cables through the larger 333 cm² openings; use the brush strip to limit dust ingress. If active cooling is required, install fan units in the prepared base or top openings and connect them following the fan manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the cabinet is properly earthed using the built-in earthing points.

Usage recommendations

Position heavy equipment lower in the rack to maintain stability, distribute weight evenly across mounting rails, and plan cable routes before final installation. When a dust-restricted environment is required, complement the cabinet's brush strip with sealed cable glands and maintain regular cleaning of vented areas and fan filters.
