Triton Patch Cord UTP Cat.5e (Class D) beige 7 m
Triton Patch Cord UTP Cat.5e (Class D) beige 7 m is a seven-metre unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet cable designed for reliable network connections between devices, patch panels and switches. The cable conforms to UTP Cat.5e (Class D) performance, supporting Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet within the Cat.5e specification. Its beige jacket and flexible construction make it suitable for visible runs in homes, offices and data cabinets where a medium-length horizontal or patch connection is needed.
The Triton Cat.5e patch cord offers consistent transmission characteristics for 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps networks over short to medium distances, with impedance and pair balance tuned for reduced crosstalk. The unshielded construction provides flexibility and ease of handling during installation and rearrangement. A standard RJ45 termination on both ends ensures compatibility with network ports, patch panels and consumer or professional switches without additional adapters.
Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (computer, switch, router or patch panel) and the other RJ45 plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured by the latch. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to maintain orderly runs and prevent strain on connectors.
Use this Cat.5e patch cord for typical Ethernet links up to 7 m; for longer permanent horizontal runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference consider higher category cables or shielded variants. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are visibly damaged.
