Description

Ubiquiti airMAX directional antenna with 34 dBi gain, designed for outdoor use in the 5.15–5.85 GHz band. The antenna is intended for focused, long-range links and supports wall mounting. Its large reflector dimensions (1050 × 1050 × 421 mm) and narrow horizontal beamwidth of 3° provide high directional performance for point-to-point wireless connectivity.

How to use

Mount the antenna on a sturdy wall bracket capable of bearing the antenna’s weight and wind load. Align the antenna precisely toward the remote antenna to achieve optimal narrow-beam coupling. Use shielded Category 5 (or above) Ethernet cabling for any wired PoE connections and ground the cable through the AC ground of the PoE device. Compatible Ubiquiti radios such as RocketM5 (or RocketM5 GPS sold separately) can be attached according to the radio manufacturer’s instructions; required tools commonly include a Phillips #1 screwdriver and 16 mm (5/8 in.) and 24 mm wrenches.

Usage recommendations

For reliable performance and protection from ESD and harsh environments, use industrial-grade shielded Ethernet cable and ensure proper grounding of all shielded connections.
