An Exclusive 6-in-2 C Hub for MacBook Pro & Air. The UGREEN Laptop Dock UGREEN 80856 (UGR961) is an ultra‑slim USB‑C hub designed to match 13" and 15" MacBook Air (2018–2020) and MacBook Pro (2016–2020). Its aluminium finish complements MacBook aesthetics and the compact dock provides multiple ports that can operate simultaneously for expanded connectivity on the go. Remove any MacBook protective case before connecting the Type‑C hub adapter.
The dock offers a 4K UHD (3840x2160@30Hz) HDMI output for high‑resolution video and supports up to 5K on the USB‑C display output; HDMI and USB‑C video outputs can work at the same time. A Thunderbolt 3 compatible port enables up to 8K video output, 100W PD charging, and very high data transfer rates (up to 40Gbps with Thunderbolt devices and up to 10Gbps with USB 3.1 Gen 2 devices). Two additional USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 2 Type‑A ports provide SuperSpeed transfers up to 5Gbps for peripherals. SD and MicroSD (TF) card slots support simultaneous reading at speeds up to 100 MB/s. The aluminium housing improves heat dissipation and device safety while maintaining portability.
Remove any protective case from your MacBook and connect the hub to a free USB‑C/Thunderbolt port. To display video, connect an HDMI cable to the HDMI port or a compatible display cable to the USB‑C video output. If charging is required, plug the laptop power adapter into the hub's PD USB‑C port. Insert SD or MicroSD cards into their respective slots for file access and connect USB peripherals to the Type‑A ports. All ports can be used at the same time; follow MacBook display settings to choose mirror or extended desktop modes.
For optimal thermal performance and reliable connections, avoid covering the aluminium dock while in use, ensure cables are fully seated, and disconnect the hub before inserting or removing storage devices when large file transfers are in progress.
