Unidelta elbow PE male threaded 25 mm x 1" (602526)
Unidelta elbow PE male threaded 25 mm x 1" is a polyethylene 90° pipe fitting that connects 25 mm PE pipes to standard 1" female threaded components. Designed for water and fluid distribution systems, this compact elbow provides a reliable transition between flexible or rigid PE piping and threaded valves, taps, meters or other fittings. The fitting is suitable for residential and light commercial plumbing as well as irrigation systems where a threaded connection is required.
The plastic construction offers corrosion resistance and reduced weight compared with metal alternatives, while the integrated male thread ensures straightforward connection to 1" female threaded components without additional adapters. Its 90° geometry saves space and simplifies routing of piping in tight installations. The material and design minimize leak points when correctly installed and are compatible with common polyethylene pipe systems.
Prepare the 25 mm PE pipe by cutting it square and ensuring the end is clean and free of burrs or debris. Insert the PE pipe fully into the 25 mm socket or push-fit end according to the pipe system's joining method; if required, use the recommended insertion depth marking. Assemble the male threaded end into the corresponding 1" female threaded component by hand-starting the thread and tightening until secure; use appropriate sealing tape or thread sealant on the male thread if indicated by the installation practice for a watertight joint. Verify alignment and support the piping to avoid stress on the fitting.
Use compatible polyethylene pipe and follow local plumbing codes. Do not apply excessive torque to threaded joints; tighten to recommended specifications and support adjacent piping to prevent mechanical strain. For potable water installations, ensure all materials and sealing products meet potable water regulations in your area.
