Unidelta elbow PE GW 32 x 5/4" is a polyethylene 90° fitting designed to connect a 32 mm PE pipeline to a 5/4" female threaded component. The fitting creates a compact right-angle transition between plastic piping and a threaded inlet or outlet, enabling a secure connection in water supply, irrigation and general plumbing systems. Constructed from durable PE material, the elbow resists corrosion and is suitable for buried and above-ground installations where a threaded branch is required.
The polyethylene construction provides good chemical resistance and long service life in typical potable and non-potable water applications. The integrated female thread allows direct connection to standard threaded valves, hydrants or adapters without additional adapters. Its compact 90° design saves space where piping changes direction and simplifies installation compared with more complex assemblies.
Prepare the PE pipe end by cutting square and removing burrs. Join the 32 mm PE pipe to the fitting according to the chosen joining method for PE (electrofusion, butt fusion or mechanical compression, depending on the fitting variant and installation practice). Ensure the threaded side is clean and apply an appropriate sealing method for the thread (such as PTFE tape or approved thread sealant) before connecting the mating threaded component. Tighten the threaded connection to the torque recommended for the mating part to avoid damage to the plastic thread.
Verify compatibility of joining methods and pressure ratings with the existing pipeline and local regulations. Avoid excessive tightening of the threaded connection to prevent thread deformation. For buried installations, follow standard backfill and protection practices to prevent point loads or sharp stones from stressing the fitting.
