USB 3.0 Hub Unitek 7-port with external power supply
The Unitek 7-port USB 3.0 Hub with external power supply expands a single USB connection into seven high-speed downstream ports compatible with USB 3.0 devices. It is designed to provide reliable data transfer and stable power distribution for multiple peripherals simultaneously, reducing strain on the host computer. The hub supports plug-and-play operation and is suitable for desktop and laptop use when additional USB ports are required for external drives, input devices and other accessories.
This USB 3.0 hub offers seven ports with SuperSpeed data transfer rates for faster file transfers between the host and connected devices. The included external power supply delivers consistent power to connected peripherals, enabling stable operation of power-hungry devices such as external hard drives and optical drives. The hub supports backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices and provides a single, compact solution to centralize multiple connections.
Connect the hub to the host computer using the supplied USB 3.0 host cable, then plug the external power adapter into the hub and a mains outlet. After power is applied, connect USB peripherals to any of the seven downstream ports. Most devices will be recognized automatically by the operating system and ready for immediate use. For high-speed transfers, connect storage devices to the hub and use the host’s USB 3.0 port to achieve maximum throughput.
To ensure reliable performance, use the supplied external power adapter when connecting multiple or power-hungry devices. Place the hub on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation and avoid daisy-chaining with other powered hubs. For large file transfers, verify that both the host port and device support USB 3.0 to benefit from SuperSpeed rates.
