Unitek uHUB S7+ is a wired USB-C hub that expands a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C) host port into multiple ports for data, video, network and power. The compact Space Grey aluminium-alloy housing (126 × 57 × 18 mm) integrates a SuperSpeed USB data channel up to 10 Gbps, a dedicated USB-C PD input supporting up to 100 W (20 V/5 A), Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and 4K HDMI video output with HDR and HDCP support. The hub also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack that supports combined audio output and microphone input, and offers plug-and-play operation with backward compatibility for USB 3.0/2.0/1.1.

How to use

Connect the hub’s USB-C host plug to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop or tablet that supports data transfer (and DP Alt Mode for video). If you require laptop charging while using the hub, plug a USB-C PD power adapter into the hub’s PD port; the hub will pass through up to 100 W depending on the adapter and host device capabilities. Attach HDMI displays, USB storage or peripherals to the corresponding ports and connect an Ethernet cable to the Gigabit LAN port for wired network access. The 3.5 mm jack can be used for headphones or a headset with microphone.
