The UNITEK Y-3324 storage drive docking station is a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 adapter that connects 2.5" and 3.5" SATA and IDE drives to a computer via a Type-A port. It supports SATA 2.5"/3.5" HDDs up to 10 TB as well as 2.5"/3.5" IDE drives and common optical drives (DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-RW). The unit includes a 12 V / 2 A external power supply and provides a compact, black enclosure with USB 3.0 speeds up to 5 Gbps and backward compatibility with USB 2.0/1.1.

Advantages

The docking station offers plug-and-play operation without additional drivers, hot‑swapping capability and an On/Off switch for HDD protection. An included 4-pin power cable supplies the required power for 3.5" IDE drives while the integrated LED indicates power and activity. How to use

Connect the appropriate SATA or IDE connector to the target drive, attach the 4‑pin power cable when using a 3.5" IDE drive, and connect the docking station to your computer using the supplied USB Type‑A cable.
