Vaco DV51 2-in-1 Clothes and Kitchen Moth Trap, Pack of 2
Vaco DV51 2-in-1 Clothes and Kitchen Moth Trap, Pack of 2 is a baited trapping system designed to catch both fabric and pantry moths without the use of sprays or aerosols. Supplied as a set of two traps, it is intended for placement in wardrobes, drawers, cupboards and pantry shelves to reduce adult moth activity and prevent larvae from infesting textiles and stored food. The product combines an attractant with a sticky capture surface to trap insects that enter treated areas.
The Vaco DV51 offers a low-odour, non-spray option for monitoring and reducing moth populations in domestic storage areas. Each trap is pre-baited and ready to use, providing continuous passive protection while avoiding chemical aerosols. The pack of two allows simultaneous placement in multiple locations such as a wardrobe and a pantry, improving coverage and early detection of infestation.
This trap targets adult moths attracted to the bait and is not an instant solution for established heavy infestations where larvae are already present in fabrics or stored food. For severe infestations, integrated measures such as inspection, cleaning, washing or discarding heavily infested items and, if necessary, professional pest control may be required. The traps are designed for enclosed storage spaces and may be less effective in large open areas or outdoors.
Open the packaging and unfold each trap according to the included instructions, exposing the adhesive surface and the attractant. Place traps in chosen locations such as the back of a wardrobe, inside drawers, on pantry shelves or in storage boxes. Position traps away from direct contact with clothing or food packaging to avoid accidental sticking; ensure they are accessible for periodic inspection. Replace traps when the adhesive surface is covered with insects or according to the manufacturer’s recommended interval.
Place one trap in each primary storage area (e.g., one in a wardrobe and one in the pantry), inspect weekly, and replace when adhesive is full. Combine trap use with regular cleaning, inspection of garments and airtight containers for stored food to reduce overall moth risk.
