How to use

Shake the bottle to mix pigments (the stainless steel stirring ball aids homogenization). For airbrushing, dilute as needed with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver and use recommended compressor settings around 15–20 psi (0.5–1 kg). Apply thin, even coats to build up coverage and preserve surface details. For brush application, use thin layers and allow each coat to dry before applying the next. When painting aircraft or metallic components, applying a gloss black primer beforehand can enhance the aluminium tone and reflectivity.

Usage recommendations

Allow sufficient drying time before mask application or varnishing: although Metal Color dries quickly, wait approximately 12 hours after application before using paint masks. For a protective sheen, consider using a compatible gloss metal varnish after the paint has fully cured. Clean airbrush tools with Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner to maintain performance.
