Paint Vallejo Ammo DIO Drybrush Light Olive Green by VALLEJO, 35 ml bottle
VALLEJO Ammo DIO Drybrush Light Olive Green is a acrylic model paint formulated for drybrushing on miniatures, dioramas and scale models. Packaged in a 35 ml bottle, this light olive green shade is designed to dry quickly and deposit controlled, translucent layers that emphasize raised details, edges and textures without obscuring underlying base coats.
The paint's consistency is optimized for drybrush application, allowing for predictable pickup and transfer when using drybrush tools or stiff-bristled brushes. Fast drying time reduces waiting between passes and helps build highlights incrementally. The pigment formulation yields stable color and good adhesion to common modelling surfaces such as plastic, resin and primed metal when used over a compatible primer.
Shake the bottle before use to homogenize the pigment. Apply sparingly to a drybrush or stiff-bristled brush by wiping most paint off on a paper towel until only a small amount remains on the bristles. Lightly drag the brush across raised areas of the model to deposit thin, controlled layers. Reapply and build highlights gradually until the desired effect is achieved. Clean brushes with water immediately after use.
Test the paint on a scrap piece or an inconspicuous area to gauge opacity and drying time over your chosen primer and basecoat. For finer control, thin a small amount with water or a dedicated acrylic medium, but retain the drybrush technique by removing excess on a towel before application.
