Acrylic Mud for Dioramas VALLEJO Turned Earth Ground 250 ml
Acrylic Mud for Dioramas VALLEJO Turned Earth Ground 250 ml
VALLEJO Acrylic Mud for Dioramas Turned Earth Ground 250 ml is a ready-to-use, water-based modeling paste formulated to reproduce realistic earth and mud textures on dioramas, scale models and miniatures. The pigment-rich paste sculpts easily, builds relief and accepts additional paints, washes or weathering products. Supplied in a 250 ml jar, this medium is designed for terrain basing, scenic detailing and model landscaping where natural ground effects are required.
This acrylic mud is ready to use straight from the jar and does not require mixing or thinning for most basing applications. Its water-based formulation makes cleanup with water simple while remaining compatible with common hobby paints and weathering washes. The paste holds texture and relief well, allowing fine sculpting, footprint or track impressions, and it accepts paint layers for realistic shading and aging effects.
This product is optimized for ground textures and basing; it is not intended as a structural adhesive or as a replacement for high-strength fillers used to repair large gaps. Extremely thin applications may dry with reduced texture, so thicker application or sculpting is recommended for pronounced relief. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during drying to prevent uneven drying or minor surface cracking.
Apply the acrylic mud directly from the jar using a spatula, sculpting tool or brush to build up ground texture. Shape footprints, tracks or ruts while the paste is still pliable; smoothing or stippling techniques can be used to vary surface appearance. Allow the paste to dry thoroughly before applying paints, washes or drybrushing—drying time depends on layer thickness and ambient conditions. Clean tools and hands with water while the product is still wet.
For the most natural results, apply in multiple thin to medium layers, sculpting details while the paste is still workable. After full curing, use thinned washes to enhance depth and drybrushing to highlight raised areas. Test adhesion and color compatibility on a scrap piece before working on finished models.
