Brush Set Vallejo Ammo Streakingbrusher Display (40) – Vallejo brush assortment for weathering and streaking effects

Vallejo Ammo Streakingbrusher Display (40) is a curated set of hobby brushes from VALLEJO designed specifically for creating streaking and weathering effects on scale models, miniatures and dioramas. The assortment contains multiple brush sizes and shapes that enable modelers to paint fine lines, apply washes and produce controlled streaks to simulate rain marks, rust trails, oil stains and general grime. The brushes are intended to work well with acrylics, enamels and weathering washes commonly used in model finishing.

Advantages

This brush set provides a variety of tips suited to different streaking techniques, allowing precise control over line width and paint flow. Brushes in the assortment maintain a balance between flexibility and stiffness for both delicate detail work and broader streaking. The collection reduces the need to buy individual brushes for specific effects and supports consistent results across multiple projects.

Suitable for

• Applying vertical streaks to vehicle and aircraft surfaces
• Creating rust trails and corrosion effects on metal parts
• Detailing oil stains, grime lines and weathered panel lines
• Controlled washes and fine-line glazing on miniatures

Key specifications

• Set composition: assortment of 40 hobby brushes in multiple sizes and shapes
• Brush types: fine liners, round tips and flat/angled tips suitable for streaking and washes
• Compatibility: suitable for use with acrylic paints, enamel washes and weathering pigments
• Intended use: streaking, washes, fine lines and controlled weathering effects

How to use

Select a brush tip appropriate to the desired streak width and dip minimally into a thinned paint or wash for better flow. Apply streaks by dragging the brush in a controlled vertical or diagonal motion, blending as needed with a clean damp brush or thinner to soften edges. Use finer tips for narrow lines and rounder or angled tips for broader streaks and blended washes. Clean brushes promptly after use following the paint manufacturer’s recommendations to preserve tip shape and responsiveness.

Usage recommendations

Test brushes on a scrap surface to determine optimal paint dilution and stroke pressure. For realistic weathering, layer multiple thin streaks rather than a single heavy application, and vary direction and intensity to mimic natural wear patterns.
