VALLEJO B03990 — assorted paint brush shapes and sizes, 3 pcs is a three-piece brush set designed for hobbyists, model makers and fine painters working with acrylics and model paints. The set combines two round brushes from the Precision series in sizes 3/0 and 1 with triangular handles for improved grip, and one flat brush size 4 from the Effects series. This assortment supports detailed line work, small-area coverage and broader strokes for washes and fades.
Advantages
The set provides a compact selection of complementary brush shapes: small round points for fine detail, a slightly larger round for controlled filling and a flat brush for washes and blending. Triangular handles on the Precision series improve handling and reduce rolling on the work surface. Brushes are intended for use with acrylic and model paints and are sized to cover micro-detail tasks as well as small-area smoothing and shading.

- Brush types: Precision series round brushes and Effects series flat brush
- Intended media: acrylics, model paints and similar water-based hobby paints

How to use
Select the round size 3/0 for the finest details and highlights, use the round size 1 for controlled filling and small lines, and apply the flat size 4 for washes, fades and broader blending. Wet the brush with a little water when using acrylics to improve flow, remove excess paint on a palette or cloth to avoid heavy buildup, and work from thin layers to thicker ones to maintain control over coverage and drying. Clean brushes promptly after use with water and mild soap, reshape the bristles and store flat or with the bristles up to preserve shape.
Usage recommendations
For model painting, use the round brushes for edges, panel lines and small highlights, and switch to the flat brush when applying thinned washes or soft transitions. Maintain moderate paint dilution for smooth application and avoid leaving brushes standing in solvent or water for extended periods to prolong bristle life.
