Acrylic Paint VALLEJO 69.006 Pink 17 ml – hobby/model paint, solvent-free
VALLEJO 69.006 Pink is a 17 ml solvent-free acrylic paint formulated for hobbyists and modelers who need a reliable pink tone for scale models, miniatures and craft projects. This water-based acrylic features a liquid consistency for smooth application, straightforward mixing with other acrylics, and compatibility with brush and airbrush techniques when thinned with water or appropriate Vallejo mediums. The satin-finish Mecha formulation offers enhanced adhesion and resistance, keeping fine model details visible while delivering a robust surface once dry.
The paint’s new Mecha formula provides a satin finish with high resistance to impact, friction and scratches while maintaining the original surface texture of the model. Solvent-free composition reduces fumes and makes the product suitable for indoor hobby use with proper ventilation. Its liquid consistency ensures even coverage and easy blending for shading and layering, and it can be applied by brush or airbrush after thinning. The advanced binder improves adhesion on difficult surfaces and supports multiple thin layers to build a uniform and durable coating.
Shake the bottle before use. For brush application, use the paint as is for base coats or dilute slightly with water or a Vallejo medium for smoother blends. For airbrushing, thin the paint with water, Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver to achieve the desired viscosity and set compressor pressure to approximately 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg). Apply in several thin layers on a previously primed surface, allowing a few hours of drying between layers to obtain a uniform, durable finish. Clean tools and airbrush components promptly using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner or water.
For best results, prime models before applying Mecha colors, work in multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat, and maintain airbrush cleanliness. Adjust thinning and compressor pressure to the model scale for controlled detail work; test on a spare surface to confirm color and flow before final application.
