Acrylic paint VALLEJO 71.132 — white, 17 ml, liquid solvent-free
VALLEJO 71.132 — white, 17 ml is a solvent-free, water-based acrylic model paint in a compact bottle designed for hobbyists and modelers. Part of the Model Air range, this matt white offers a liquid consistency formulated for airbrushing as well as brush application. The fast-drying formula produces a uniform, durable paint film while retaining fine surface detail. It adheres well to primed plastic, metal and other common modelling substrates and can be thinned for airbrush use or applied directly for brushwork and touch-ups.
This matt acrylic is solvent-free and water-based, reducing strong odours and simplifying cleanup with water. Its liquid, airbrush-ready consistency ensures smooth atomization and even layers when diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, while still giving consistent coverage with a brush. The rapid drying time allows for multiple successive layers without long waits and the final film is resistant and preserves miniature details. The formulation reflects Model Air’s focus on historically researched colours suitable for military models and scale modelling projects.
Shake the bottle before use to ensure uniform pigment distribution. For airbrushing, thin the paint with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver to the desired viscosity and set the compressor pressure to about 15–20 PSI (0.5–1 kg). Apply several thin, even coats rather than a single heavy coat, allowing short drying intervals between layers. For brush application, use directly from the bottle or reduce slightly with water if thinner consistency is needed for glazing or layering. Always work on a clean, primed surface and allow the paint to cure before handling or applying additional effects.
Prime the model before painting to improve adhesion and uniform coverage. When airbrushing, use recommended thinners and clean the airbrush with Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner after each session to maintain spray quality. Apply multiple thin coats for depth and to avoid obscuring fine details; store the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
