Acrylic Paint Set VALLEJO Game Color Pale Skin Set 4 x 18 ml
Acrylic Paint Set VALLEJO Game Color Pale Skin Set 4 x 18 ml
VALLEJO Game Color Pale Skin Set 4 x 18 ml contains four acrylic colors formulated for painting pale skin tones on miniatures and scale figures. Part of the Game Color range, these water-based, high-pigment paints are designed for layering, glazing and fine detail on plastic, resin and metal surfaces. The set provides a coherent palette of base, midtone and highlight shades to achieve realistic pale flesh effects and smooth transitions while working at miniature scale.
The colors in this set are compatible with other paints from the same series and thin predictably for washes, glazes and blends. High pigment concentration ensures good coverage and color strength at thin application thicknesses, reducing the number of coats needed. Acrylic formulation dries to a satin finish, is easy to thin with water or acrylic mediums, and cleans up with water when wet. The 18 ml dropper-style bottles allow controlled dispensing for mixing and avoiding waste.
The set focuses on pale skin tones and does not include darker or very warm flesh shades, so it may not be sufficient alone for projects requiring a wide range of complexions. For non-miniature applications that need high UV-resistance or automotive-grade durability, these acrylic model paints are not formulated for long-term outdoor exposure or industrial use.
Shake each bottle before use to ensure pigment dispersion. Apply with a brush for fine detail or thin with water or appropriate acrylic medium for glazes and airbrushing. Start with a midtone base, apply progressively lighter layers for highlights, and use thin glazes to smooth transitions. Allow adequate drying time between layers. Clean brushes and tools with water while paint is wet; once cured the paint is water-resistant.
For tabletop painting, prime the miniature with a neutral or light primer, use the midtone from this set as a base, then work up highlights with thinner layers. Use glazing to unify transitions and a satin or matte varnish to protect the finished model.
