Acrylic Airbrush Paint VALLEJO Game Air Black 18 ml
VALLEJO Game Air Black 18 ml is an acrylic, airbrush-ready paint designed for fine-detail miniature painting, model kits and hobby scenery. Supplied in an 18 ml dropper bottle, the formulation promotes smooth flow through airbrush nozzles and delivers even, consistent coverage with fast drying characteristics. The water-soluble base enables cleaning and thinning with appropriate water or dedicated airbrush thinner, making it suitable for layered work, base coats and mid-tone shading on a variety of surfaces used in modelling and wargaming.
The paint offers a stable, low-viscosity consistency optimized for airbrush application, reducing clogging and ensuring uniform atomization. Quick drying time allows successive layers and detailing without long waits. Compatibility with water and Vallejo airbrush thinner provides controlled thinning for fine misting or heavier coverage, while the pigment concentration ensures reliable opacity for base coats and touch-ups.
Shake the bottle well before use to ensure homogeneous pigment suspension. For airbrushing, thin the paint with water or a dedicated airbrush thinner to achieve the desired viscosity; begin with small increments until the paint delivers a fine, stable spray pattern. Load into your airbrush reservoir and test on a scrap surface, adjusting pressure and thinning as needed. Apply several thin, even layers rather than a single heavy coat to avoid runs and preserve surface detail. Clean the airbrush thoroughly after use with water or airbrush cleaner to prevent clogging.
Use lower air pressure (10–20 psi / 0.7–1.4 bar) for fine detail and higher pressure for faster base coating; allow sufficient flash time between passes. Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results on non-porous plastics, use a suitable primer before applying paint.
