How to use

Shake the bottle well before use to ensure aluminium pigments are evenly suspended. For brush application use directly from the bottle or slightly thin for smoother flow. For airbrushing, dilute the paint with an appropriate airbrush thinner or Flow Improver to achieve the desired viscosity; recommended compressor pressure is approximately 15–20 psi (0.5–1 kg). Apply thin, even coats, allowing rapid surface drying between passes to build coverage while maintaining surface detail. Wait at least 12 hours before applying masking materials to ensure the layer has fully cured for subsequent masking or additional coatings.

Usage recommendations

To achieve the best metallic depth on aircraft or similar subassemblies, prime surfaces with a gloss black primer to enhance the aluminium pigments’ reflectivity. When tinting or blending metallic tones, use compatible Vallejo Model Air or Game Air colours in the airbrush cup. Allow sufficient drying time before handling or applying further treatments such as washes, varnishes or decals.
