The product consists of coarse particles in a granite grey tone with a size range of 2–5 mm, intended to reproduce scree, rubble and uneven ground textures. It is supplied as dry particulate material to be applied over adhesives, scenic paste or textured paints to achieve a natural stone appearance at miniature scale.

How to use

Prepare the model surface and apply a suitable adhesive or scenic paste where texture is required. Sprinkle or press the Granite Grey granules onto the adhesive while it is still wet, ensuring even coverage and desired thickness. Allow the adhesive to set fully, then gently remove excess loose granules. Once dry, seal the texture with diluted PVA, matte varnish or a compatible scenic sealant to stabilize the particles and integrate them with paintwork. Paint and weather the textured area as needed to match the surrounding landscape.

Usage recommendations

For best results, test the material on a scrap surface to determine the ideal adhesive, sealing method and painting sequence. Use finer aggregates or scenic sands in combination with the 2–5 mm granules to create smoother transitions and more natural gradations in terrain.
