Acrylic Paint VALLEJO 70.898 Dark Sea Blue — Bottle 17 ml
VALLEJO Acrylic Paint 70.898 Dark Sea Blue is a water-based, matt opaque color formulated with a high pigment concentration for brush application. Packaged in a 17 ml dispenser bottle, this model paint is designed for scale models, miniatures and hobby projects. It dries quickly to a self-leveling, uniform film and offers strong adhesion on resin, plastics, steel and white metal. The range includes basic shades plus specialized tones for historical figures, vehicles, aircraft and military models, as well as glazes, transparent and fluorescent options for special effects.
The Dark Sea Blue formula provides consistent pigmentation and can be thinned easily with water or acrylic mediums for layering and detail work. It forms a homogenous, self-leveling coat suitable for both large surfaces and fine miniature details, and cleans up with water. The paint exhibits excellent adhesion to common modelling substrates including resin, plastic, metal and steel.
This water-based acrylic is not intended for airbrushing straight from the bottle without thinning; it may require additional thinning or an acrylic medium for airbrush use. It is also not formulated as a primer, so surfaces should be primed before painting to ensure optimal adhesion and finish.
Shake the bottle before use and dispense a small amount onto a palette. Apply with a brush in thin layers, allowing each layer to dry before adding the next to achieve smooth coverage. Thin with water or acrylic mediums for glazing, shading or airbrushing. Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use.
For best results on miniatures and models, apply multiple thin coats rather than a single thick coat, and use compatible primers and acrylic mediums to adjust flow and opacity.
