Acrylic Paint VALLEJO 70.858 Yellow 17 ml – artist/model paint, liquid
VALLEJO 70.858 Yellow is a 17 ml tube of matt, opaque liquid acrylic paint formulated for artists and model makers. This water-based Model Color offers high pigment concentration and consistent coverage, developed for brush-on application to miniatures, scale models, dioramas and small craft projects. It dries rapidly to a self-leveling, homogeneous film with strong adhesion on primed surfaces and performs well on materials such as resin, plastics, steel and white metal. The paint is suited to layering, detail work and mixed-media techniques and tools and brushes are cleaned with water.
This Yellow acrylic provides dense, even pigmentation and a matt finish that resists gloss. Its water-based formula allows easy thinning and blending for subtle transitions or glazing effects while maintaining color strength. The paint forms a uniform, self-leveling film that covers both large areas and fine details without clogging brush tips. It adheres well to primed surfaces and standard modeling substrates and dries quickly to accelerate subsequent layers or detailing.
Apply VALLEJO 70.858 Yellow on a surface that has been primed for best adhesion and color fidelity. Shake or mix the tube contents before use to ensure even pigment distribution. Use a clean brush and apply thin layers, allowing each layer to dry quickly before applying further coats; thin with water or appropriate acrylic medium for glazing and smoother blends. For fine details, use a fine-point brush and minimal thinning to keep opacity and control. After painting, clean brushes and tools with water.
For optimal results on scale models and miniatures, work in thin successive layers rather than a single thick coat, and allow adequate drying time between layers. Test compatibility on a small primed area when combining with different varnishes or specialty transparent colors. Store the tube capped and away from extreme temperatures to preserve consistency and pigment stability.
