Acrylic paint VALLEJO 70.941 Burnt Umber, bottle dispenser, 17 ml
VALLEJO 70.941 Burnt Umber is a matt, opaque acrylic paint formulated for brush-on application in model making, miniatures and hobby crafts. Supplied in a 17 ml bottle with a built-in dispenser, this water-based paint offers high pigment concentration and quick drying to form a self-leveling, homogenous film. It adheres well to primed plastic, resin, metal and white metal surfaces and is compatible with other water-based VALLEJO Model Color paints. Tools and brushes are cleaned with water, and the bottle dispenser helps precise dosing while preserving the remaining paint.
Burnt Umber provides strong coverage and high opacity in a matt finish, allowing both large area coverage and fine detail work. The formulation dries quickly to a uniform film that self-levels, reducing visible brush strokes. The dispenser bottle prevents unnecessary evaporation and makes controlled application easy. Because the paint is water-based and solvent-free, it is non‑flammable and simple to clean from brushes and tools with water.
Shake the bottle gently before use. Apply paint with a suitable brush to a primed surface; thin with water if necessary to achieve glazes or smoother layering. For solid coverage use undiluted or slightly thinned paint and allow each layer to dry before applying the next. Clean brushes and tools with water immediately after use. Store the bottle upright and close the dispenser cap tightly to prevent drying in the container.
For best results, prime the model with a compatible primer and allow it to cure fully. Use multiple thin layers rather than a single thick coat to preserve surface detail and avoid pooling. When working on fine details, use the bottle dispenser to place a small amount on a palette before painting. Keep the paint at room temperature and away from freezing to maintain consistency; refer to the manufacturer's safety data for handling and disposal information.
