Acrylic paint VALLEJO 70.954 — Yellow, liquid acrylic, 17 ml
VALLEJO 70.954 — Yellow is a liquid, water-based acrylic paint supplied in a 17 ml bottle designed for hobbyists and model makers. Part of the Model Color range, this matt, opaque yellow contains a high pigment concentration for strong coverage and consistent color in thin brush-applied layers. The formulation dries rapidly to a self-leveling, homogeneous film, and is suitable for fine detail work as well as larger painted surfaces. It adheres well to primed plastics, resin, metal and other common modelling substrates and is compatible with water thinning and mixing with other acrylics from the same range. Tools and brushes are cleaned with water.
This yellow acrylic offers high pigment density for good opacity in minimal layers and fast drying for efficient workflow. The water-based formula is non-flammable and solvent-free, making it safer to handle in hobby environments. The eyedropper bottle prevents excessive evaporation and keeps small quantities usable for extended periods. The paint levels evenly to produce a smooth finish suitable for both miniature details and broader areas.
Shake the bottle gently before use. Apply over a properly prepared and primed surface for optimal adhesion and true color appearance. Use a fine brush for detail work or larger brushes for broader areas; thin the paint with water if necessary to achieve smoother layering or glazing effects. Allow sufficient drying time between layers to avoid lifting previous paint. Close the eyedropper cap after use to minimise evaporation and maintain paint quality.
For best results, prime the model with a suitable primer and test thinning ratios on a palette to control opacity and flow. Combine small amounts of this yellow with other Model Color tones to create accurate historical shades or subtle highlights. Store upright in a cool, dry place and keep the cap tightly closed when not in use.
