Prepared shielded Twisted Pair patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for use as a patch cable in wiring cabinets or as a direct connection cable between devices. The flexible S/FTP Cat.6 cable has 8 stranded copper conductors with a braided shield, a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen emission when exposed to high heat. Contact wiring follows the 1:1 EIA/TIA 568 standard and the 1 m black length is suitable for short interconnections in homes, offices and server cabinets. The cable and connector combination has been tested in our laboratory in a 100 m channel and complies with Class E specifications.
