The VALUE 3m S/FTP Cat.6a RJ-45 Yellow is a shielded patch cable designed for network connections with data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s and a bandwidth of 500 MHz. It uses an S/FTP (pairs shielded with aluminium foil plus overall braided shielding) PiMF Twisted Pair construction with eight conductors and 100 Ω impedance. Both ends are fitted with moulded RJ-45 connectors wired 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard, and the cable is colour-coded yellow for easy identification.
The S/FTP construction and full braided shielding reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high-speed 10GBase-T connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide reliable contact quality and corrosion resistance. A moulded kink protection on each connector increases durability, while the flexible cable jacket allows installation in confined spaces and narrow bends. The 3 m length offers a practical balance between reach and neat cable management.
Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of the switch, router or device and the other to the corresponding port on the second device or a patch panel. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive tension; use cable ties or organisers to maintain neat runs. Follow standard cabling practices and verify link status on connected devices.
