Fibre Optic Jumper Cable VALUE 21.99.8755A is a 5.0 m OM4 multimode patch cable with 50/125 µm fiber and LC/LC connectors. The cable is purple and designed for high-speed data links in networks, supporting present 1 and 10 Gbit/s systems and enabling extended reach for future 40 and 100 Gbit/s deployments. OM4 fiber provides increased laser bandwidth for improved transmission distance and performance in campus backbones and data center short-reach links.
The OM4 multimode construction offers a high laser bandwidth (around 4700 MHz·km) that exceeds the IEEE requirement for 10 Gbit/s at 300 m, allowing extended reach up to approximately 550 m at 10 Gbit/s. LC/LC connectors provide compact, reliable mating for dense patching, and the 5.0 m length and durable jacket make the cable suitable for rack-to-rack and patch panel connections while maintaining low insertion loss.
