Planter Verto 15G426 — depth 235 mm, weight 230 g, single pack
Verto 15G426 planter is a handheld planting tool designed to create precise planting holes up to a depth of 235 mm. Constructed with a galvanised A3 steel working part and a polypropylene movable handle, this single-pack hand planter weighs 230 g and is intended for transplanting seedlings, planting bulbs and placing small plants in beds or pots. A movable construction grips cuttings for controlled placement, while an external depth scale helps set consistent planting depth.
The combination of galvanised A3 steel and a PP handle joined by rivets provides mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for extended service life. Its compact overall length of 235 mm and light weight of 230 g enable ergonomic handling and precise control during planting tasks. The movable mechanism allows grabbing and releasing soil-root systems with minimal disturbance. A maximum working diameter of 60 mm supports a variety of bulbs and small-rooted plants. The external depth scale simplifies setting and maintaining correct planting depth.
Hold the planter by the handle, press the working end into the soil to the required depth indicated by the depth scale, then squeeze or operate the movable mechanism to capture the soil plug or create the planting hole. Release the mechanism to drop the seedling or bulb into the hole and withdraw the tool, then firm the surrounding soil to ensure good contact with roots or bulb base. For pots, use the same procedure with adjustments for container depth.
Use the hand planter in moist but not waterlogged soil for easiest insertion and removal. Clean and dry the galvanised steel parts after use to minimise build-up of soil and prolong corrosion resistance. For very compacted or rocky soil, loosen the area before inserting the planter to avoid bending or damage. Store in a dry place away from prolonged exposure to moisture.
