Verto 15G471 sealing tape is an openwork gardening mesh tape made of polyethylene (PE), designed to provide gentle yet reliable support for plants. The product comes in a roll 30 mm wide and 50 m long, supplied as a single piece per pack and weighing 164 g. The perforated structure allows airflow and light penetration while securing stems, shoots and vines without cutting into plant tissues.
The PE construction ensures durability, UV resistance and flexibility, while the openwork design prevents moisture buildup and reduces the risk of rot. The tape’s softness and flexibility minimize damage to delicate stems, enabling repeated use and easy handling. Its lightweight roll format is convenient for transport and storage, and the uniform width supports consistent tying and fastening.
Wrap the tape around the stem and support with a gentle loop, leaving room for growth to avoid constriction. For vines or heavier branches, make two or more loops at intervals to distribute weight evenly. Cut the tape to length with scissors or a knife and knot or fasten the ends to the support structure. In greenhouse or outdoor conditions, check ties periodically and adjust them as plants thicken.
Use Verto 15G471 sealing tape for temporary and long-term plant support where breathable, non-abrasive fixing is required. Avoid overtightening and inspect ties regularly during the growing season to prevent stem damage. Store the roll in a dry, shaded place to prolong material life.
