Lawn Edging VidaXL set of 30 white steel strips 100 x 0.5 x 30 cm
Set of 30 VidaXL white steel strips 100 x 0.5 x 30 cm is a practical lawn edging solution for creating defined borders between turf, flowerbeds and walkways. Each strip is made of steel with a white finish and a slim profile that sits low to the ground to secure soil and prevent grass from spreading into planted areas. The set provides a continuous, uniform edge for residential gardens, communal green spaces and light landscaping projects.
The steel construction offers rigidity and long-term dimensional stability while the white finish improves visual contrast between lawn and planting beds. The slim 0.5 cm thickness allows the edging to be inserted with minimal soil disturbance, and the 30 cm height gives adequate retention of soil and mulch. Supplied as a set of 30 identical strips, the product enables straightforward installation of continuous borders over larger perimeters without frequent joints.
This white steel edging is intended for low to medium-demand landscaping. It may not be suitable where very heavy ground loads, constant vehicle traffic or frequent mechanical edging are expected, because sustained heavy impacts can deform thin steel strips. It is also not designed as a structural retaining wall for large soil masses.
Position the strips along the desired border line, ensuring the top edge is level and the vertical face contacts the soil to block grass runners. If necessary, pre-dig a shallow trench to allow the top of the edging to sit at the preferred height relative to the turf. Join adjacent strips by abutting ends; press or tamp the soil back against the edging to secure it. For best results, install on firm, compacted soil and check alignment regularly during installation.
For a neat, durable border, lay the edging on compacted soil, maintain regular intervals when abutting strips to minimize gaps, and avoid using heavy machinery directly against the edge. Periodic inspection and repositioning after severe frost or ground movement will extend service life.
