Field Fence VidaXL 1.2 x 25 m galvanized steel — roll fencing for temporary enclosures
VidaXL field fence in galvanized steel, sized 1.2 x 25 m, is a roll fencing product designed for temporary or semi-permanent enclosures. The corrosion-resistant zinc coating protects the mesh and wires from weather exposure, while a roll format allows straightforward transport, storage and deployment. The product is intended for creating boundaries for livestock, garden edges, construction site perimeters and event areas where a practical, reusable barrier is required.
The galvanized steel construction offers durable resistance to rust and outdoor conditions, extending service life compared with untreated wire mesh. Supplied as a compact roll, the fence is easy to move, unroll and adapt to different post spacings. Its simple, open-mesh design provides visibility through the barrier while still restricting access and containing animals or materials. Installation is flexible and compatible with a variety of posts and support systems.
This roll fence is intended for temporary or semi-permanent applications and may not be appropriate as a long-term high-security barrier. For permanent fencing in areas with heavy livestock pressure, aggressive animals, or where climbing prevention is critical, a more robust, fixed fencing system or additional reinforcement may be required. Very uneven terrain or rocky ground can complicate straight installation and may need tailored supports or ground preparation.
Select appropriate posts or supports for the intended use, spacing them to match the fence roll length and the level of containment required. Unroll the fence along the designated line, hold it taut and attach it securely to the posts using staples, wire ties or suitable fasteners. Trim the roll to length as needed with appropriate cutting tools. For livestock containment, ensure bottom edge contact with the ground or use ground stakes to prevent animals from pushing under the fence. Regularly inspect fixings and the zinc coating for wear and repair any damaged sections promptly.
For best results, combine the rolled fence with appropriately spaced sturdy posts and tensioning at installation. When used for livestock, check the fence periodically and reinforce areas showing wear. In coastal or high-humidity locations consider additional inspection frequency to maintain the protective coating effectiveness.
