Galvanized Steel Fence Panel VidaXL 1.2 x 50 m, Welded Mesh
VidaXL galvanized steel fence panel 1.2 x 50 m is a welded mesh roll designed for perimeter and boundary fencing. The panel consists of welded steel wires with a zinc-coated surface that reduces corrosion and extends service life in outdoor conditions. This mesh product is supplied as a continuous roll that can be cut, shaped and fixed to posts to create temporary or permanent enclosures for gardens, properties or livestock areas.
The galvanized welded-mesh construction provides mechanical strength and dimensional stability while resisting rust in wet or humid environments. Supplied in a long continuous length, it simplifies installation for large perimeters and reduces the number of joints compared with short prefabricated panels. The open mesh design maintains visibility and airflow while providing a physical barrier against intruders or animals. The steel material tolerates standard fastening methods such as ties, clips or wire.
This welded mesh fence roll is not intended for use where a solid visual barrier or full privacy screening is required, since the open mesh allows visibility through the fence. It may not be suitable for containing very small animals (for example rodents) unless additional finer mesh or netting is applied. Extremely corrosive environments, such as continuous salt-spray exposure at the shoreline, may shorten the protective life of the zinc coating and require more frequent maintenance.
Unroll the welded mesh panel along the planned fence line and cut to length where required. Secure the mesh to vertical posts using appropriate fasteners such as metal clips, heavy-duty cable ties or galvanized wire, ensuring the top and bottom edges are held taut to prevent sagging. For ground fixing, bury the lower edge slightly or attach to a base rail to reduce animal digging. Where visibility reduction or smaller openings are needed, attach supplementary screening or finer mesh on the inside face. Periodically inspect fastenings and zinc coating for signs of wear and recoat or replace sections as necessary.
For best results, use galvanized or stainless steel posts and matching fasteners to maintain overall corrosion resistance. Stretch the mesh taut during installation and secure intermediate posts at regular intervals to prevent sagging. Where additional protection is required, apply a protective topcoat or integrate a plastic or timber barrier to increase longevity and improve aesthetics.
