Garden Fence VidaXL 0.8 x 25 m Galvanized Steel
VidaXL garden fence panel made of galvanized steel, measuring 0.8 x 25 m, designed to mark boundaries, protect plants and define outdoor spaces. The panel is built from hot-dip galvanized steel to provide corrosion resistance and reliable outdoor performance. Its straightforward metal mesh design is intended for practical separation of beds, lawns and pathways in private gardens, allotments and landscaping projects.
The galvanized steel construction reduces the risk of rust and extends the service life of the fence when used outdoors. The 0.8 m height offers a low visual profile while providing a physical barrier that discourages small animals and foot traffic. A 25 m length provides continuous coverage for longer borders or can be cut and joined for customized runs. The panel is lightweight enough for manual handling yet rigid enough to maintain shape across its length.
This garden fence is not intended for high-security applications or to contain large or strong animals that may push through or climb over a low fence. It also may not be the best choice for locations requiring a decorative or solid privacy screen, as its metal mesh design provides limited visual screening.
Measure and mark the intended fence line, allowing for any gates or access points. If needed, cut the panel to length with appropriate metal-cutting tools and file any sharp edges. Secure the fence to ground stakes or posts at regular intervals using suitable clamps, ties or fasteners for metal to wood/metal connections. Ensure the bottom edge is close to the soil to limit animal access and, where required, anchor the ends firmly to posts or structures to maintain tension and vertical alignment.
For prolonged durability, install the fence in well-drained soil and avoid direct, prolonged contact with wet mulch or compost. Periodically inspect fastenings and galvanized coating for damage; repair any scratches to limit corrosion. When cutting the panel, deburr edges and apply a suitable protective coating to exposed metal if long-term corrosion protection is desired.
