VidaXL galvanized steel field fence 1.5 x 25 m for boundary and containment
The VidaXL galvanized steel field fence 1.5 x 25 m for boundary and containment is a corrosion-resistant outdoor fence panel intended for perimeter marking, animal containment and temporary enclosures. Constructed from galvanized steel, the fence offers a straightforward, low-maintenance solution for gardens, smallholdings, farms and rural pathways. Its 1.5 m height and 25 m length allow effective coverage of short to medium runs while maintaining visibility and airflow.
The galvanized steel construction provides protection against rust and weathering, extending service life in outdoor conditions. The fence’s modular length and uniform height make it easy to deploy along straight or gently curved perimeters. Lightweight compared with some rigid barrier options, the fence is manageable by one or two people for installation and repositioning. The open mesh design permits light and airflow while maintaining a clear boundary suitable for containment of small livestock and protection of planting areas.
The fence is not intended as a replacement for high-security fencing where anti-climb, heavy-duty intruder resistance or full privacy is required. It may not be adequate for containing large, powerful or highly destructive animals without additional reinforcement and robust post systems. For permanent boundary lines in exposed, high-wind coastal locations, additional anchoring and maintenance may be needed to ensure long-term stability.
Determine the fence run and mark post positions at regular intervals compatible with local ground conditions. Unroll the fence along the planned line and attach it to posts or stakes using appropriate ties, clips or wire fasteners. Ensure the bottom edge is secured to prevent animals from pushing underneath; in soft ground, use ground staples or bury a short section. Tension the fence evenly along the run to reduce sagging and check fastenings periodically, especially after adverse weather.
For optimal performance, pair the fence with sturdy timber or metal posts set at appropriate intervals and use corrosion-resistant fasteners. Regularly inspect tensioning and fixings, and install a bottom barrier or ground staples where burrowing or small animal escape is a concern. Store unused sections in a dry place to avoid surface debris accumulation.
