Field Fence 1 x 50 m VidaXL — galvanized steel, roll fencing for temporary enclosures
VidaXL Field Fence 1 x 50 m is a roll of galvanized steel mesh designed for temporary enclosures and site perimeter control. The product delivers a corrosion-resistant barrier that can be unrolled and secured with posts, ties or staples to form a continuous fence for livestock separation, garden protection or marking work areas. Its lightweight roll format makes transport and deployment straightforward for short-term or seasonal needs.
The galvanized steel construction provides resistance to rust and weathering, extending service life in outdoor conditions. The roll format allows fast deployment and flexible length use: you can cut or overlap sections to fit the required span. Because the fence is portable, it is convenient for temporary applications where a permanent installation is not needed or is impractical.
This product is intended as a temporary or semi-permanent barrier rather than a heavy-duty permanent fence. It may not provide sufficient strength for containing large, very strong animals or for locations with high impact risk without additional reinforcement. For permanent boundary fencing or applications requiring high security, consider a more robust fixed fence system with concrete posts and foundations.
Unroll the fence along the intended perimeter and position supporting posts at regular intervals. Secure the mesh to posts using ties, wire, clamps or staples appropriate for the post material. Overlap adjacent rolls or join ends securely to avoid gaps. If required, tension the fence to reduce sagging and add additional posts or horizontal supports for extra stability. Trim excess mesh with bolt cutters and ensure the fence base is close to the ground to prevent animals from slipping underneath.
For temporary livestock use, place posts closer together and add a bottom tension wire to reduce sagging and prevent animals from pushing through. For longer-term installations, periodically inspect fixings and touch up any damaged galvanization points to prolong lifespan.
