Fence Hexagonal Green 1.6 x 10 m Steel VidaXL
VidaXL Fence Hexagonal Green 1.6 x 10 m Steel is a hexagonal mesh steel fence panel designed for perimeter protection, garden enclosures and containment of small animals. The panel measures 1.6 m in height and 10 m in length and is made from steel wire formed into a regular hexagonal pattern. A corrosion-resistant surface coating is applied to improve outdoor durability. The mesh can be cut or shaped on site to follow terrain or to fit mounting posts.
This hexagonal steel fence provides a balance of visibility and containment: the open mesh allows light and air to pass while preventing small animals from passing through. The corrosion-resistant coating reduces maintenance and helps extend service life in outdoor environments. The flexible mesh construction makes it straightforward to bend or trim to follow uneven ground and to adapt to various post systems, reducing installation complexity compared with rigid panels.
This product is not intended as a high-security barrier against determined intruders or large climbing animals; the hexagonal mesh and flexible steel are designed primarily for light to medium-duty containment and boundary purposes. For applications requiring heavy mechanical protection, anti-climb features, or very high load-bearing capacity, a purpose-designed security fence or reinforced panel should be chosen instead.
Unroll the fencing along the desired line and temporarily stake it to check alignment. Fix the mesh to upright posts using suitable ties, clips or wire at regular intervals, ensuring the bottom edge is secured to prevent small animals from slipping underneath. Trim excess material with bolt cutters or metal shears and fold or twist cut ends to avoid sharp edges. Where required, tension the mesh lightly to reduce sag between posts, but avoid over-tensioning which could deform the hexagonal pattern.
For best results, use weather-resistant fastening materials and set posts in concrete for permanent installations. When installing on uneven ground, overlap and stagger joints and secure the lower edge to prevent burrowing. Periodically inspect tied joints and coating condition and touch up exposed cut edges with appropriate corrosion protection.
