VidaXL hexagonal garden fencing 1.5 x 10 m galvanized steel
The VidaXL hexagonal garden fencing 1.5 x 10 m galvanized steel is a flexible perimeter barrier designed for outdoor use. With a hexagonal mesh pattern and galvanized steel construction, this fencing defines garden borders, protects flowerbeds, and creates small enclosures to restrict pets or deter wildlife. Its 1.5 m height and 10 m length provide a continuous protective run suitable for lawns, beds, and small allotments while requiring minimal maintenance due to corrosion-resistant galvanization.
The galvanized steel finish provides protection against rust and atmospheric corrosion, increasing outdoor lifespan. Its hexagonal mesh offers a balance of visibility and containment, allowing plants to grow through while preventing larger animals from entering. Lightweight yet sturdy construction makes handling and installation manageable for one or two people, and the continuous roll form allows cutting to required lengths for custom applications.
This fencing is intended for light to medium containment and is not designed for heavy livestock, high-security installations, or areas requiring tall, rigid barriers. In very coastal or industrial environments with extreme corrosive conditions, additional protective coatings or more corrosion-resistant materials may be preferable.
Unroll the fencing and position it along the intended boundary. Use fence posts, stakes, or garden stakes placed at regular intervals to support and secure the roll; posts should be driven into the ground to provide sufficient tension. Trim the fencing to the required length using appropriate wire cutters and fasten the edges to posts with U-clips, ties, or wire. For added stability, bend or anchor the lower edge into the soil to deter burrowing animals. Periodically inspect fastenings and touch up any exposed cuts to maintain corrosion resistance.
For best results, use treated or galvanized posts to match the fencing corrosion resistance, install posts at consistent intervals to maintain tension, and anchor the bottom edge to prevent burrowing. When cutting the roll, deburr exposed edges and consider a cold-galvanizing spray on cut ends in highly exposed sites.
