Garden fence VidaXL hexagonal 1 x 50 m steel with 13 steel posts 32 mm 110 cm galvanized
VidaXL hexagonal garden fence 1 x 50 m in steel is a roll of hexagonal wire mesh supplied with 13 galvanized steel posts. The system is designed to create a perimeter barrier and to support climbing plants. The wire mesh extends 50 metres in length and the included posts are 110 cm long with a 32 mm diameter, providing a continuous, stable boundary for gardens, allotments, poultry runs and small enclosures. Galvanized surface treatment enhances corrosion resistance for outdoor exposure.
The hexagonal wire mesh design offers flexible yet firm coverage that conforms to uneven ground while maintaining shape and strength. Galvanized steel components reduce rust formation and extend service life outdoors. Including 13 posts in the set simplifies installation planning by providing evenly spaced vertical supports matched to the roll length. The lightweight roll can be cut and shaped on site to fit different layouts and functions.
This hexagonal garden fence is not intended for heavy security applications where anti-climb features or high tensile barriers are required. It is designed for light to medium containment and plant support rather than to stop determined intruders or large roaming animals.
Unroll the hexagonal wire mesh along the planned fence line and position the first post at a starting corner or end. Place posts at regular intervals corresponding to the included quantity to ensure even support, and insert each post into the ground to a stable depth, using a post driver or hammering aid if needed. Attach the mesh to the posts with suitable ties, clips or wire, ensuring the mesh is tensioned enough to avoid sagging but not overstressed. Trim excess mesh where necessary and secure both ends to the terminal posts. For plant support, train climbing vines or creepers through the mesh openings as they grow.
For best results, install posts at evenly spaced intervals and check vertical alignment as you secure the mesh. Where ground is soft or sloping, set posts deeper or use concrete footings to improve rigidity. Periodically inspect galvanized surfaces for damage and touch up any exposed steel to maintain corrosion resistance.
