Welded Wire Mesh Fence VidaXL 1.5 x 50 m Galvanized Steel
Welded Wire Mesh Fence VidaXL 1.5 x 50 m Galvanized Steel is a corrosion-resistant welded mesh panel supplied as a long roll with overall dimensions of 1.5 m high and 50 m long. Manufactured from galvanized steel, the fence provides a balance of structural rigidity and open visibility, making it suitable for perimeter fencing, garden enclosures, and basic barrier reinforcement. The product is compatible with standard posts and fastening systems and can be cut to length on site for residential and light commercial installations.
The galvanized finish protects steel wires from rust and environmental corrosion, extending service life in outdoor conditions. The welded construction ensures consistent panel strength and uniform mesh openings, which maintain shape under normal loads. Supplied in a continuous roll, the mesh is convenient for spanning long runs and for on-site cutting to required dimensions. The open design maintains sightlines while providing a physical barrier.
This welded wire mesh is intended for light to moderate loads and general perimeter use; it is not designed as a high-security solution against determined intrusion or heavy impact. For applications requiring high tensile strength, anti-climb features, or significant load-bearing capability (for example industrial retaining structures or security perimeters), a heavier gauge or specialized fencing system should be selected.
Plan the fence line and mark post positions at regular intervals appropriate for local conditions and desired rigidity. Unroll the welded mesh and cut to length using suitable wire cutters or bolt cutters. Attach the mesh to posts using wire ties, clips, or brackets designed for metal mesh. Ensure the bottom edge is secured to prevent sagging or to reduce small-animal ingress; tension the mesh between posts for a straight, firm installation. If needed, treat cut edges or fasteners to reduce risk of corrosion where galvanization may be compromised.
For a durable installation, use corrosion-resistant fasteners and ensure posts are set in concrete for permanent fences. For pet enclosures, position posts closer together and secure the bottom edge. Inspect and maintain cut ends and connections periodically to preserve the galvanized protection and overall integrity.
