VidaXL welded galvanized steel fence panel 0.8 x 100 m Lumarko
Welded galvanized steel fence panel 0.8 x 100 m by VidaXL (Lumarko) is a continuous steel strip designed for perimeter fencing and temporary or semi-permanent enclosures. The panel combines welded mesh construction with a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish to provide a durable barrier suitable for outdoor use. Its long, flexible shape allows fast installation along borders, gardens, construction sites or any area where a continuous fencing strip is required.
The galvanized surface offers protection against rust and weathering, extending the service life of the panel in outdoor conditions. Welded mesh construction ensures consistent strength along the entire length, while the continuous roll format simplifies transport and installation compared with segmented panels. The steel material provides rigidity to deter casual intrusion and can support climbing plants when used in gardens.
This welded galvanized steel fence panel is not intended for high-security applications that require anti-climb features, reinforced posts, or tamper-proof fastenings. It also may not be ideal where a fully opaque visual screen is required, since welded mesh provides visibility through the fence. Specialized finishes or coatings beyond standard galvanization are needed for environments with extreme corrosive exposure, such as constant saltwater spray.
Unroll the panel along the planned fence line and position it against prepared posts or supports at appropriate intervals. Secure the mesh to posts using compatible fasteners or ties, ensuring the panel is tensioned to avoid sagging. For ground mounting, dig post holes to the required depth and set posts in concrete or compacted backfill before fixing the mesh. Cut the steel mesh to length with appropriate metal cutters when needed and wear protective gloves and eye protection during handling and installation.
For best results, install the fence with regularly spaced, properly anchored posts and tension the mesh to minimize movement. Periodically inspect fastenings and treat any damaged galvanization to prevent localized corrosion. When using as a plant support, secure plants to the mesh to avoid damaging young stems during windy conditions.
