Steel Hexagonal Garden Fencing VidaXL 1.4 x 50 m Green
VidaXL steel hexagonal garden fencing 1.4 x 50 m in green is a roll of welded hexagonal mesh designed for basic garden boundary marking, plant protection and small enclosure projects. The fencing is constructed from steel wire formed into a hexagonal pattern that provides support for climbing plants and creates a visible barrier around beds, small plots or outdoor features. Its green finish blends with garden surroundings while the 1.4 m height and 50 m length enable use in longer runs or for dividing larger areas.
The fencing offers a straightforward, low-maintenance solution for delineating garden areas and protecting plants. The hexagonal mesh provides even support for vines and creepers while allowing light and water to pass through. The steel construction gives basic mechanical strength for containment of small animals and boundary definition, and the green coating reduces visual impact in planted environments. Supplied as a roll, the product is easy to transport and unroll along fences, beds or borders.
This steel hexagonal fencing is intended for light to medium garden use and is not suitable where high-security, heavy-duty animal containment or load-bearing structural fencing is required. It does not provide the strength or rigidity of welded panel systems or high-tensile security fences and may deform under sustained heavy impact or pressure.
Measure and mark the run where the fencing will be installed, allowing for gates or access points. Unroll the fencing and position it against posts or stakes placed at regular intervals; secure the mesh to posts using wire ties, staples or clips suitable for outdoor use. Trim the ends to fit and ensure the lower edge is anchored to reduce sagging and prevent small animals from burrowing beneath. For increased stability, use stronger posts at corners and tension the fencing while fixing to posts.
For best results, pair the fencing with sturdy posts at 1.5–2 m intervals, use corrosion-resistant fixings, and tension the roll during installation. Regularly inspect the coating and fixings and repair any deformations promptly to maintain containment and plant support.
