Lawn Edging 10 pcs VidaXL 15 x 103 cm Flexible Corten Steel
The VidaXL Lawn Edging set contains 10 flexible Corten steel panels, each measuring 15 x 103 cm, designed to create defined borders between lawns, flower beds and pathways. These panels develop a protective rust-like patina over time that reduces maintenance and provides a natural, weathered look. Their flexibility allows them to follow curves and contours in garden designs, while the durable steel construction gives long-term resistance to outdoor conditions.
Flexible Corten steel combines strength with adaptability, allowing the edging to retain shape while conforming to curved beds and borders. The patina that forms on the surface acts as a protective layer, reducing the need for painting or additional surface treatment. The set of 10 panels provides continuous edging for medium-length borders and enables consistent visual definition across lawn and planting areas.
This edging may not be suitable where a painted or non-rusting finish is required, since the steel is intended to develop a rust patina. It is also less suitable for locations needing very high vertical containment or heavy structural support; in those cases a more substantial or reinforced edging solution should be considered.
Plan the border line and prepare the ground by clearing vegetation and leveling the soil where the edging will be placed. Position panels end to end following the desired contour and press the lower edge into the soil so the top edge remains visible at the chosen height. For secure fixing, partially bury the lower edge and compact the soil against it; additional stakes or anchors can be used where a firmer hold is required. Allow time for the surface to develop its protective patina under natural weather exposure.
For neat results, mark the layout with string or spray paint before installation and install panels on slightly compacted soil. Where higher containment is necessary, combine the panels with garden stakes or a concrete footing. Regularly inspect the edging after severe weather to confirm anchors remain secure.
